Mid Autumn Festival 2016

How do you all past your Mid Autumn Festival 2016 in Penang?

Normally people will take lantern and walk around the road with friend, since we grew older... we have our preference to celebrate it. There is a lot of nice decoration lantern inside the mall and certain restaurant and park. And just enjoy eating moon cake ourselves. Haha :)

Usually very crowed here with Old Town White Coffee, Star buck, Star View restaurant, even weekend have some Zumba activity. Now does not happening as before anymore.

It is still a surprise  for us, when we past by and found this cute and nice creature of under water world lantern.

Prangin Mall

Just a small decoration in front the Sushi King, it was a really simple and great design that let us know the lantern festival is around. This made I think of the childhood movie "Mulan". The colourful lighting, let us feel the warm of this festival.

Alor Setar 兰花饭～幸福的味道

Lalala ~.~ we hunt for food again, their is a famous pandan rice (兰花饭) in Alor Setar, kinda far if come from Penang (need around 2 hours).

Is quite hard to find the location here, thank to those GPS... and a lot source from the internet, we had use almost 1 hours for our lunch... actually almost become tea time ... @@

While we reach here, is a lot of people and we need to queuing for the seat 1st, once got the seat, we need to wait another 30 minutes for the food to serve. As this is the family business, does not have any other labour to help them. Is good that the serve the drink to us, as weather is too hot.

You may find how delicious of the pandan rice set is... you can't image the taste... it is so awesome.

Is worth to wait for this delicious pandan rice with blissful taste. Our set is allow for 2 main dish, it is depends on which set you order. There are 4 main dishes, rendang chicken, prawn, garlic chicken (Homemade), pork. The standard set is come with some side dish like egg, salted egg, toufu, etc. There drink is quite special also, you may find the color in blue (picture below). It include of barley, leong fun and their famous pandan flower taste. It is so great. Thank you darling bring me here to enjoy the blissful taste, I love you.

Movie date with love ~.~ Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Hehe... long time no update blog lo...there is a nice movie that is really great to watch "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

I wanted to watch it very much, since i watch the trailer. Luckily there is a holiday replacement fall on 03 October 2016 (Weekday) and it is cheap, watch before 6:00 pm just RM 10.00 with Maybank credit card. We rarely watch movie during weekday d... Usually we spend our date during weekend.

This movie consist of lot of mystery, while Jake's grandfather is past away. And he start his journey to find out the clues that he left of... and Jake found Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. After find out the danger deepens, and he start try to stop it... oh by the way, Jake is cast by Asa Butterfield (Ender's Game) haha...better go watch with your love one, is a must watch list...

Is a great day and great time that spend together with your love one, so sweet... awh (^_^)oo Stay sweet forever <3 <3 <3

Bukit Merah (06-07 August 2016)

It is a great experience we out from city, the city was too busy...we decide back to nature see tree, water and etc... especially for those who want to release stress at work, here is the best choice.

Here we come Bukit Merah Lake Resort, i was just about 70+ km / 50 minutes distance from Penang. We depart around 9 am after having our breakfast, and reach here about 10 am. This is so near yet, not our top choices for our vacation...haha... :) Once we reach here with no regret at all, the natural view is so nice, you can't image how beautiful and peaceful it will be. We enjoy ourselves so much here.

Once we reach, we still unable to check in our Bukit Merah Lake Resort, as check in only available at 3 pm. However the stuff treat us nicely, we only need to keep ask about the promotion, offer, special price we can get it over here, she so patience and explain to us, we feel that is a great choice came here for vacation. 

We just bought the water park entrance ticket per person (RM 38.00), there will be 20% for touch n go user. Of course, here we start to enjoy boomerang, slide, too bad was a lot facility under maintenance. But together have fun with you are the best thing ever. Just a reminder, please bring more money enter, as the locker, double tube need to charge in high price. Is good to bring some food, snack for lunch or after play till tired, it called picnic...great <3 <3 <3

The Resort is nice, we receive a call around 1 pm from reception, we can check in early. Wohoo, we love this kind service so much, sometime travel is unpredictable. After check in, we love the resort so much, the room is so big, everything is great here. Awesome (^_^) We stay in third floor with lift and swimming pool (basically for kids), is a quiet place to calm down and relax.

Cuti - cuti Malaysia (Perlis) 23 April 2016

Here is our another short trip, wohoo, super excited, as I did not go Perlis before (past by may b) hahaha (=_=")  But he will be  the my tour guide, guiding me around... awwwh...how sweet.... <3 <3 <3

This is consider as hot trip for us, it about 37 degree outside, any how we also have prepare some food, drink for our road trip. Our main purpose for this trip is to see the paddy field, but we came at the wrong time.  :(  After we back, here the rain come... luck also quite important sometime instead of just planning... (=_=")

We use quite small road to reach Perlis... not sure is the right 1, as long as can reach and we are using waze...it almost took us around 3 hours to reach Gua Kelam. We did not stop at any R&R, we conclude as is far than we heading to Ipoh.

Once we reach Gua Kelam, we only manage see some water at the river. It used to be plenty of water and able to see waterfall, but now does not have it, should cause by the weather which not raining for month. T~T

You need to pay for the entrance fee at adult (RM 1.00) ; Kid (RM0.50). This is not a peak season for outing, there is nothing special when you entering the cave, might find some natural creature like stone, crystal inside the cave. We kinda disappointed at first, but we found out there is a secret garden after you passing the cave (370 meters), there is some unique creature you can find here. It so nice, just like a beautiful garden and may rest yourself here.

After visit Gua Kelam, our stomach keep beeping for food lo... We had our lunch @ Khuan Bee kopitiam. Just about 500 meters from Gua Kelam. This kopitiam is famous of selfmade baozi and loh mai kai. Their big bao is freshly made daily and it will be finish by around 03:00 pm daily. Should try the fish bee hon soup, you can find the delicious in this bowl... yummy ^_^

Due to the hot weather we go to T Hotel Kuala Perlis to have a rest. Can get sun burn easily at here... OMG... (o.o)

Is dinner time, lalala.... carving for it so much.... yea... our dinner is seafood @ Hai Thien Restaurant. We order a lot seafood to fill up our tummy. There is famous fries you tiao with mayonnaise, butter prawn, fried squid, kam heong crab, siam steam seabass fish and satay. It is so delicious and you need to believe all the dish just finish by 2 of us. ;p

Remember to come early as will full during night time, is a great place for gathering. There is a couple of Malay and Indian family for dinner, the worker is quite nice and serve us very well. They also remind us, there is too much food, will do all small portion for you two. they are so sweet. Thumb up (^_^)

We finish our super delicious dinner and had a small lepak back to Hotel, wanted to see the Majlis Terapung, but there is no water at all, that Majlis no longer Terapung XD XD XD

There is famous of snake & reptile farm, we do not like it.... lala...so not on this trip ^^

This is our another sweet trip, hope that we can continuous to keep this move for improve ourselves into our love story, and a part of journey of exploring, facing obstacle fighting and challenge together and stronger for our future. <3 <3 <3

Puncak Mutiara Cafe

This is my feeling when I enter the cafe, so so so nice and so so so sweet. Puncak Mutiara cafe had a great view and theme, you may select which place you would like to sit. there is air-con, pool side, river side, Japanese style and many more. You can figure out it, just walking along the cafe, is a very very big cafe still deep inside. We choose pool side to have our sweet date dinner.

There is plenty of menu to choose, we would like to order the satay platter... but there is some satay is not available, like this rabbit, deer, oatis. We order the Hawaiian Fried rice, Lamp spaghetti, few type of satay, we do order the goat milk with coconut shake, and coconut with vanilla ice cream shake. That is so nice on the taste.

Balik Pulau Half Day Trip ~.~ @ Labour Day

Today is Labour day, most of the people does not need to work on Sunday. Tomorrow will a replacement holiday. Yeppi... We start our journey around 12pm from Georgetown area to Balik Pulau. The weather is kinda hot, kindly prepare sunblock to avoid sunburn. We decided for a bike trip at Balik Pulau, and we accidentally found the Audi DreamFarm. It is a big natural farm with own plant and animal. There is plenty of animal and plant you may explore here. You need to pay for the entrance fee while entering the farm, they will give some some food to feed animal, and they explain well if you are not sure.

There is a variety of Mountain Bike available here, the rental fees is RM 20. You can have a try of the Mountain Bike 1st before choose the mountain bike you like. you may return to them before 07:00 pm. I feel it worth with the price, the owner even provide water, cycling cap, rain coat, map to let us know the road trip. I had an accident during the bike trip, I just know is don't give up, keep going... Yea... :)

We ride to Fish Village for Soya Drink due to Hot Weather, you may try out the tau fu fa as well. After recharge we proceed Saanen Daily Goat Farm, for the fresh goat milk. Slurp :p We unable go to the Ghee Hup Nutmeg Factory as our plan, due to the injury of my leg, so we proceed back to Audi DreamFarm. There will be the hill road to reach there and we will plan it for our next trip... Yeeha (>_^)

While we return the Mountain Bike, the owner take the medic kit for us, this is the extra service with F.O.C. How caring are them. The owner and workers are friendly, helpful and very polite, give a very big thumb to them. (^.^) We are happy to come here with no regret, you may try out yourself. :)

The sky getting dark, our stomach keep remind us, is dinner time... lolx... We have a quick stop at Anjung Indah to see nice scenery, there is a Thai restaurant with a nice environment. But we are going to Khuntai for our dinner. ;) Omg... people mountain people sea... =_=" I guess due to holiday, so is full house, business so good by the way... Even is full house, we does not need to wait so long for the seat and food.

This is the first time I visit Khuntai at Teluk Kumbar. This is a great place for Thai cuisine. I like the Tomyum seafood very much, it was so delicious and a lot of fish meat. I like the green curry taste so much, however in the end it is a bit spicy for me, I even finish the pineapple fried rice with nothing left on my plate. Wah...nice food ever. After we finished our dinner, we go to the beach to had a walk. I like the beach so much, the sand is cold (^o^) How sweet (^o^)
